In my opinion the greatest game I've ever played would have to be...damn this is so hard...Batman Arkham City. Great graphics, controls, story is awesome, batman is awesome.

It would have to be Final Fantasy VII for me. Even to this day, no game has made such an impact on me as FFVII. Not only is it one of the best games ever made in its own worth, but it was also the first RPG I ever played. I immediately got hooked! The compelling story kept me up playing till late in the night just to see what happened next. Good tiems
Xenogears
No other game (except the Xenosaga series) has made such a impression on me for the great story,Music,Character development.
even better with that great Undub patch thats out.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
This kind of thread again..
Can't say I saw that coming
It's really hard for me to say what the "greatest game" I've ever played would be, as I have several favorites spanning across so many different consoles and genres. But ok;
Racing: Gran Turismo 4
RPG: Final Fantasy 5
FPS: Halo 3
RTS: Age of Empires 2
Sports: NHL '94
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
Zenonia 4
I play mostly rpg's hence for me the greatest game would be Any Final Fantasy from 1-9, Chrono Trigger,Terranigma etc.

right off hand? castlevania: symphony of the night, i've played that game so many times its ridiculous, especially seeing as i have the entire thing memorized
For me its Turok Dinosaur Hunter for n64.
All version of Harvest Moon.
A tie between these, based on games that I can always return to and never tire of:
Pro-Wrestling (NES or Nintendo Play Choice)
Castlevania: SOTN
Baldur's Gate PS2 (Wish I knew of others just like this one, MY kind of high fantasy; the upgrading of weapons and gear, leveling-up, long quest, etc. withOUT the boring-as-stone 'turn based combat' bullshit.)
The greatest game I've ever played is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. It was a good series. But the 4 installment made me feel the most.
Hmm, this is a tough one. I would have to say Zelda: ALTP or Donkey Kong Country 2. Both great games.
