Already made my contribution to the project. I missed out of the Genesis cart, so I'm gonna go for this one.
It's certainly not available here, AFAIK. It's apparently quite hard to dump successfully, and you'll find little emulator support. Genesis emu coders are much less willing to support games released recently than the guys coding CPSP.
It has been successfully dumped and there actually is a compatible emulator. Although I will not post either of them here. I do however have a legit copy, so I don't feel guilty emulating it.
I am totally going to pledge some money towards this Kickstarter though. Dreamcast collectors edition, yes please.
Down for the Dreamcast LE and the OST. I should've ordered the OST back when it was $35
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
Time to dust off my Dreamcast!!
I see I see.
I'd like to pledge for one of the CEs, but I don't really have the spare cash lying around at the moment. I'll probably wait till the last few days and then pledge for the 360 or PC digital version. Neither is limited and I figure there'll probably be something unlocked by the end like extra tiers or addons.
I wish I had 999$ to give them.
Honestly, my main interest would be at the $125 level. But I can't justify the purchase.
Already have one of the original prints of the Mega Drive version, but I'll happily put down the money for a Dreamcast copy because the Dreamcast is love, and because such projects really deserve to be supported.
That being said, I hope that along with the HD upgrade, they thoroughly rebalance the game. The original had enemy stats which almost seemed to have been decided at random. One area would be absolutely brutal, and the next would be a cakewalk, yet the second's enemies would yield more experience than the first. It made no sense at all, and it's a problem I've seen the developers acknowledge on their forums in response to complaints, so here's hoping.
