Nice find. I might have to donate to the cause!

Which version of Pier Solar do you have? Original or reprint?

I've yet to play the game - I heard it's really hard..... or at least there is a nasty grind aspect to it or something.

Unfortunately I got into the game late and only have the reprint version.

Haven't actually played it either, but I really don't mind grinding. Seeing as how I do it in every RPG whether it's required or not.

You have a point - I spend a lot of time grinding as well whether it's needed or not. I think the original came with a music disc for use with a Sega CD attachment - replaced all the ingame music with cd-quality. I could be wrong on that but I thought that's what I remembered hearing.

Pretty impressive homebrew if you ask me.

Yep they have an enhanced music CD that you can use if you happen to have a Sega CD. I think it came with the original edition. Although they have a burnable copy on their site as well as a pressed copy that comes with the official OST.

Pretty much the most impressive homebrew I've ever seen. Most homebrews happen to be shooters or platformers, but to actually create an RPG of this magnitude. It's truly impressive.

Hey Kouen why do you use linux as well as windows?

just kinda curious since linux is fun to tinker around with and has some nice free programs.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
