    Default 3DOPlay issue

So I've recently downloaded the latest version of 3DOPlay, and can't seem to figure out how to get it working exactly. I should have the bios in the correct place, however whenever I try to load a game (gex.iso in this case) it goes to a black screen and sticks there. Strangely enough however it DOES seem to work under wine in Linux (with a very choppy framerate, could be my computer?). So my question is, do I need to install any particular runtimes or anything to get this working under windows?

Also when attempting to mount a disc image to use the load cd option (specifically, Gex.iso from the main site), it throws an error saying something along the lines of "file is corrupt". This is trying both Daemontools Lite and Magicdisc. Is this normal behavior when trying to mount ANY 3DO images, or is it possible the one I downloaded is borked?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Well, I still have no idea why 3doplay isn't working in windows, however with some tinkering I have managed to get 4DO to run reasonably well (despite being rated lower, meh).

"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
