    edx offers free certificates from online branches of harvard, MIT, and UC Berkeley. Computer Science and Health in Numbers begin today from Harvardx.

    no. You take it Pass/Fail and you can get a free certificate. You don't get admitted to Harvard. Not sure if it's transferable if you attend college later.
