    Default Serious Issue (PS2 emulation)

I've got my PS2 emulator to work correctly in every sense except one. When I load a game, only half the screen works, does anyone know how I can fix that?

What do you mean by half the screen? Is the image squashed, or are you literally missing half of the screen as in it's black? Have you hit alt+enter to enable full screen? Are you using an HD monitor, what's your resolution? Plugins?? We need more information to assess this problem please. Also, what PS2 emulator are you using? If you're not using PCSX2 that could also be a good start, as it's the most stable.

I've heard of stuff like this where the .ISO is bad, except it usually happens with badly burned discs instead of emulation. OFC it might be like 1964 and be totally the Emulators fault or the plugins.

I meant literally cut-off, and with all three ISOs I've tried.

then either the internet is corrupting the ISOs, the extractor is, the recompiler is, or the video plugin is crap, or maybe the emulator is bad

    Alright:
What games are you trying to play? Make sure they are compatible.
Where did you download them from? Please provide links.
Have you changed any options? Set them all to default. If that does not change anything/they are all already on default, redownload and install the emulator.
What version of PCSX2 are you using? Try the latest stable version, 1.0.0 (r5350), if you aren't already.

Also, as already mentioned, make sure to try fullscreen mode.

Lastly, please tell us your system specs.

And just so you know, we need to know all of ^that^ before we can help pretty much everyone, not just you.

Only 11 games are compatible? I haven't even heard of any of them. If those are it, never-mind, I guess I won't bother. On the off chance there are more:

-I'm trying to play Justice League Heroes.
-I downloaded two of them from right here on emu-paradise. The others ISO hunt and Kick ass torrents. Not sure on links.
-I uninstalled and reinstalled PCSX2, no help.
-I installed the one you linked above, same thing.
    -Tried fullscreen, didn't help.
-My system is an Acer Aspire laptop, circa 2009.

Where the hell did you get "11"?

And you didn't answer any of the other questions

    EDIT:
Ok, I've got you. The page you are looking at is the very first page, it only has games that start with a number or symbol, of which there are 11.
Please try looking at the page for more than 30 seconds before posting again. Seriously, look at the "Compatibility index" (top left corner).

What kind of video card do you have? You didn't mention it on your specs, and unless you have an ATI or NVidia card you're going to be out of luck most likely. It takes a pretty powerful computer to run PCSX2, and laptops do it no favors. I use a laptop that I got last year, and it's pretty powerful, over double most everything you mentioned and the emulator still has issues for me when I really try to push it. Let us know what type of video card you have and we can go from there.

Well, your processor and the amount of RAM is good to know, but nowhere in that wordwall did you tell us your graphics card (although I think it is safe to assume that it is a standard integrated laptop card).
    Depressing spoiler:
    Spoiler warning:
(From what I see, there is nothing emulation-breaking, but your potential looks a little bleak, as 2.01 GHz is pretty lacking. But there are some games that you can definitely play, like most 2D games, and some you might be able to play, Like Final Fantasy X. I'd look around the PCSX2 forums for more info, as there are threads dedicated to this)

The ones you downloaded from Emuparadise, were they forum links or direct downloads?

And just to clarify, you get the same result with all of the games you tried, or where all of the ISOs just different versions of Justice League: Heroes? Because it could potentially be just that game, but if it happens on all of them... there is something wrong and/or incompatible with your system, (probably your GPU) I'm sorry to say.

Right now, if all of the games you try have the same result, your best hope is Google, and the official PCSX2 forums (just don't tell them that you downloaded the game, and don't just copy/paste your logs if the game file name has something like "GameTorrents" in it).
Maybe SOLDIERSeeD will come by with an answer, but I doubt it.

I can't seem to find specifics, but it is an ATI Radeon.

Make sure your card is updated with the latest drivers, if it is infact an ATI Radeon. Secondly, have you tried any of the graphics plugin packs? I know mine worked just fine with the initial stuff that came with it, and I think it was only DX9. I've since upgraded to one with DX11 drivers and it works better.
