    Default Slow PSP games?

    Slow PSP games?

Has anyone had a game noticeably slow down on the psp 3001 official psx emulator? I backed up persona 2 eternal punishment to it and the gameplay was horrible when I tried Innocent Sin it worked perfectly I also had a problem like this when I backed up my brain dead 13 and it played fine to a point then it was all vndkls'airahgrio;aofjpJEFPPIR and I could only enter the menu options and exit the emulator.
So can anyone tell me how to fix these problems on the official psx emulator released for the psp by sony?

Moved to correct section as you are using a console to emulate on not a PC

    Anyway
Persona 2 works best with pops 4.10 though game may freeze so save often
Brain Dead 13 works best with pops 3.90

To change it start ya game up and hold R1 while it's loading

P.S. my info may be oldish so there may be better pops versions now for the games

I've already tried that whole hold r1 stuff and it just starts like always. Did I mention it's on the emulator that comes with it? Oh sorry AND the firmware is 6.60 that last psp firmware sony made and was hacked so it's pro-b 6.61 cfw.

So it's safe to assume that you don't have POPSloader installed?

Yep that's a safe bet, I run the official emu from sony and I noticed on the old games made during 1995 aside from twisted metal 1 games like persona 2 eternal punishment, brain dead 13, ballerburge, legacy of kain blood omen, broken helix, broken sword shadow of the templar, and my latest scratched game backed up from online download rayman 2 the great escape either give a long shrill noise, garbage graphics that freeze almost bricking my psp, or slow down so much you don't want to play the game anymore.

Have a look through this thread. It has some relevant info, and it's by far the easiest method.
Also, I'll see if I can find the old compatibility list.

    EDIT:
Well, Here is the one MaslowK posted not too long ago, but I can't find the one I was looking for.

Sorry to revive this thread I thought it was going to stay dead but I've just run into a snag trying this popsloader. I get it to run that R1 thing and select the popsloader firmware but it just keeps sending me back to the xmb screen saying game could not start 800d000?
EDIT: I sort of fixed this problem but now I just get a black screen and have to take the battery out to restart my psp please some one tell me what I'm doing wrong I really want to take legacy of kain blood omen on trips. Also will popsloader 6.60 pro run on psp slim and could that be why it's not loading?
Edit: I fixed both problems and I got it running swell except for persona 2 E,P and Brain dead 13 still freeze and make taking the battery out the only way to rest it so can someone tell what popsloader these work on without the freezing and killing of psp if not then tell if you know if the ps vita has popsloader yet and if its better.
I would've looked into getting ps3 for these games but I was told that the new slim wont play discs even when hacked and on here that transfering pirated/backed up eboots/discs from psp to ps3 was impossible so please HELP ME!!!!!!
