My favorite for CPS1/CPS2 is Kawaks. Gameplay is super smooth and I never experienced compatibilty issues. I try to avoid Mame because fixing and updating the ROMs is so confusing. That tutorial is very helpful but seems to be setup for the entire MAME game list. Is there an option to scan and rebuild individual games? I only have about 20 roms and six of them need to be fixed in MamePlus 0.146 (32bit) GUI

It's easy as hell. You just have to put the roms that you want to fix in a separate folder of your choice, & make it the source directory. Then set the destination folder to the "Roms folder in the Mame folder". And then scan it, it's done

may i ask how to play CHD Rom on Mame, i use type emu Mame32, i have download Rom CHD and i try tutorial to play CHD Rom on Mame, but is doesn't work

Which game are you playing?
Some games may need some roms to run properly, otherwise most of the CHD games run without them.
