Help me write down the text of In-game videos!

I am trying to write down what the man say in the first intro video of Resident Evil 2 but I can't grab some words.

So if anyone has this game can help me please??

First I can hear that he say: Something like (A desired) incident occurred in the outskirts of an American summer called Racoon City.

Then, I can't hear this next one, well here is what I heard.

It was later (.........) that the terrible disaster has been caused by the T Virus. The dots between the brackets means that there is something said by the man which i couldn't grab it clearly.

Not every game no but there are alot of them around, more for japanese games than english ones

The word between brackets mean I am not sure about if it's correct or not. Dots between brackets means I couldn't hear it at all.

Why I didn't hear this statement "The case was apparently closed thanks to the efforts of S.T.A.R.S. members Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine."
I am using psx_1.13
Resident Evil 2 didn't work on ePSXe 1.7.0 or 1.6.0 when I run either the .ccd or .img file, I can only see a black screen and the game won't start.
Does anyone also know what is that problem?
If it's plugin issue. Can you give me a link to a full working ePSXe emulator?

Now, I want a program that I can use to edit the video and insert my own voice without removing the music in the intro...
Can I do that while editing the video?

P.S. not even sure that is even a Movie that you just got the text for

you need good sound software
Audacity may do the trick, otherwise you are talking about software that will just cost stupid amounts

You do need to be able to re-make the str aswell

Sony Movie Converter is what is needed there, it also handles xa files that are sound files

You can get plenty of PSX movie players that will play STR files directly instead of emulating PSXPlay is just one of them, there are plenty more

As for inserting it back it, thats the tricky bit well so is the above

I would practice on taking a CD image apart and putting it back together without loss of sound first, thats hard enough on it's own with Sony's CDGen (Not to be confused with Sony's CD DVD gen that is just for PS2 software and will not work with PSX software with xa and str headers)

And don't expect it to work perfect

No I am not gonna modify the video to re-insert them in the ISO.
I am just modifying the video I recorded. I want to add my own voice on that video without losing the music in the video, so Audacity can make this?
But can Audacity remove the voices in the video and add my own voice?

You need to split the video into 2 parts first, Video and Audio but yes is should be able to seperate the channels of sound, singling out the original voices is not that easy though

P.S. it's easier to make subtitles for video's than it is to dub them, but both are possible and videohelp has hints on both

P.P.S. ePSXe runs Resident Evil 2 just fine though you may need to give it a lil time to boot up
