Default Mupen64 Plus[1.99.4] on N64 emulator Download Page a Virus?

Just a head's up. I just tried downloading Mupen64 Plus[1.99.4] using the Download download link: mupen64plus-bundle-win32-1.99.4.zip on the N64 emulators page and my anti-virus stopped the download in its tracks saying it was dangerous. It started quarantining like there was a zombie outbreak. I've never had this issue with ANYTHING from EP before, so I'm willing to believe that my anti-virus is being trigger happy on this...but just a head's up to everyone just in case. I was able to download the same file on the Mupen website without incident.

    Cheers.

Nah, once I downloaded a wonderswan emulator which was also infected. I think the emulators are uploaded by users, so they may be infected.

What did the output from your av say exactly? If it was anything along the lines of "generic-malware" etc it was most likely a false positive. An older version of FCEU had the same issue with AVs picking it up as malware.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
