So far this is the only game to cycle through the different colored screens 2-3 times, when it did I landed on the red screen for about 5 seconds. One of the cutscenes in the game started lagging and gave off a strange audible sound, so I skipped it. So far the gameplay works without any difficulties. I want to say it works as the game does 99% of the time but will keep testing

It's not uncommon for FMV to lag in some of these, I'm sure it's the video drivers on the disc that cause this though. I think that because on the ones that have laged for me the actual video files are encoded the same as those that don't lag via FMV and I always use the same type of DVD

I am kinda glad I use my xbox original as well as some of the games that lag during FMV on the PS2 play perfect on the Xbox

DOESN'T WORK.

If you lose all your lives you have to restart the whole game. Typically what happens is you lose all your lives, and then the screen flashes multiple colors for 5 minutes, and restarts itself. And the game severely lags. The first level is really hard and really long, so you can't save until you beat it.
