Everyone seems to be picking competitive FPS games. If that's the case then I'll go with TF2.
If we're talking FPS in general, then Half Life-2 is my all time favorite. I make it a point to play through this game at least once a year.

Yoohoo, over here. Yes sir , thank you sir, I'm a geat fan of call of duty sir. Me friends all think me's a bit stupid cause they sayz its always the saem gaem every year, but that's SO not true, no sir it AIN'T It alwayz gotz the new mapzz and err err err new mapzz and err err Zombies( sometimes but i don't know why sir, cause I ain't seen no modern war with zombies, it would've been in the newzthingie now would it.) Oh and me friendz keep saeyin that 4vs isn't like modern war but what do they now they just be stupid. You can't program it for more than 8 people, it's 8-bit for a reason duh. nah I'm more of a TF2/HL2 player. that little bit of humor/decent storyline does make a difference. and not just the basic: " you're here now, go over there and shoot everything you see kinda way."
