    Default Wiiu Prices

It seems some prices have been leaked, so here we go.

The Wiiu will have different bundles:
    $249.99
    $299.99
    $349.99

The games will go up to $60

The gamepad/tablet is rumored to be $50-$70

That is much cheaper than I thought for the Wiiu. I was expecting $350 for the normal version. I'll wait a year or so before deciding to buy one. I learned my lesson with my 3DS.

I do this with every console anyway. Usually more than one year. Will definitely buy a Wii-U sooner or later, though. Tetsuya Takahashi has confirmed that the next title he is directing will be a Wii-U game. And where Takahashi goes, Elly's money soon follows~!

It always pays off to wait a year, by then they will have worked out the bugs and the launch games will be cheaper.

honestly... i find myself not caring at all. the controller just completely turns me off from the system. i may try it somewhere and absolutely love it, but i really doubt that'll happen.

It looks like the stupidest idea for a controller ever.

no... the controller that had a numpad, two joysticks and god only knows how many other buttons was the stupidest. period. or maybe the one with a knob that you turned.

Yeah I was gonna say the Intellivision, colecovision, atari 5200 and jaguar ones. Why were the numbers and over lays? Havent heard of the numbpad with 2 joy sticks.

i don't remember, i saw it something like six years ago. my reaction was pretty much, um what now? it's possible i'm misremembering specifics on it, but the other ones are definitely worse than the wiiu one. it's just pretty high up there on the totem pole of bad designs. personally i'd put the wii controller up there too. hate that stupid thing.

actually, i'd argue the original xbox design was worse.

I think it was the colecovision that had numbers and overlays. Why do they make the controllers so complicated? sigh.

stupidity/the desire to have more options for input.

It was both Vision consoles that had numerics that caused them to look like phones. Coleco had a stick for its dpad thing. Man, the NES controller was such a monumental advancement its not funny. Simple and forward. The Nerd made a Doublevision series about both consoles. Luckily you can take out the Coleco controller and replace it with an Atari or Genesis controller.

I think most of the controllers weve talked about have one thing in common, you have to take your eyes off the tv to play the game while using it. Now thats the worst design for a controller ever.

The other controller for the WiiU is like a Xbox and PS controller for hardcore gamers, so why design another one with a screen you dont need that is more expensive?

because it adds what FPS and game-show fans have always wanted, a screen so nobody can see where they are or what they're doing
