'cept for how to spell "eidetic," and the fact that pretty much no one has ever been proven to have an eidetic memory.

    Time for

Gotta start re-roofing the house with the old man tomorrow. The only thing I'm looking forward to is getting my laptop Friday.

    See y'all.

He meant the new iDetic from Apple. It's the newest pocket-sized smart phone that "Remembers everything, so you don't have to."

I however DO have an eidetic memory.

Anyway, what's going on Drag, how have you been? How's your new roommate coming along? I am about to pull the triger on this immaculate looking NES Challenge Set w/Super Mario 3 CIB on CL. It's only $95 now, down from $140 originally. Good things come for those who wait.

Pure preference but I also find multi-platform games usually play a lot better on the Genesis.

Plus I absolutely adore the music on the Genesis. SNES had a great sound chip but I can't stand that echo effect so many devs used so they could get away with shorter samples. A necessary evil due to cartridge size limitations, but so many games sound like they're in a bathroom.

Roommate is fine. She's gone for most of the day (she works evenings, I work mornings, etc), but it's still been fun. Watched movies for a few hours last night after kiddo went to sleep and chit-chatted. It's nice having someone in the house to talk to sometimes.

Also, good luck with your CL find. I have the same box, although not in nearly as good of condition, and it's missing the manuals and plastic wrap and whatnot. Got it off a friend of mine back in high school when she found out I was collecting NES stuff. Still has all the styrofoam and everything.

The same kind of thing happened to me with the big auction I just bought (which, according to tracking, cleared customs last night ): was eyeing it up for about two weeks, but the price wasn't right. They reposted it once after knocking $100 off the BIN, then knocked another $50 off. That's when I bought it.

How are things going on your end?
