Could be. There's also the fact that I, for some reason, find it easier to come across a game that I can just chill with. While finding an anime that doesn't consist entirely of stupid slapstick humor, overly cutesy, borderline pedophile nonsense or 40-minute-long fight scenes with dues shouting their attacks and looking all angsty... is slightly less easy.

    Dear Gare,

I knocked on your door today, but you didn't answer.

Then I got distracted by all the crazy people looking at me as if I were foreign or something.

And all the buildings had the same roof.

Then I had to go home and eat ice cream by myself.

I'm sure it depends on which branch of the military, what sort of unit/area you're assigned to, etc. but I've sure heard of a hell of a lot of gaming consoles in the military.

    Marines.
I forgot their pseudo-uber manly traditions wouldn't allow me the pleasure

I've played online with people in the Marines. Of course, I've also had them leave abruptly for room cleaning prior to inspection and for training on how to escape a helicopter that's been downed over water. In fact, I think I had more of a chance to talk to him when he was stationed on the other side of the planet than I do now that he's home.

Oh, so that was you. I thought it was a Jehova's Witness, I get those folks all the time.

Oh well, the next time I eat ice cream I'll, uh, think of you?

Next time I'll have to yell obscure gaming references or something to get your attention, I suppose.

That would've been my second guess. I hear it's all fun and games...

    Seriously though, good luck.

It's the lifestyle I chose, so I'm going to belittle the hell out of it while I still can.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they had an Xbox there with some Call of Duty game.

Probably hell if you're into RPGs like me, but at least it's better than nothing...

    This is totally irrelevant, but...
