If I had my own way my first car would probably be a mk7 Ford Escort Finesse. 1.6, 16v. In the metallic blue colour with those weird triangular alloy wheels.

They're kind of disgusting. But they've grown on me.

Escort RS alloys and the Sierra Cosworth alloys are my favourites.

    I was kinda joking.
Most alloys don't interest me now anyway.......if I had a choice I'd probably just stick to stock steels (although of a larger diameter).
    I'm not fussed really

Stocks wheels are the only ones that interest me.

Pointless when you see a 206 drive past with 26" alloys on.

I like my cars unmodified. I dunno, I really like cars to be kept as original as possible. Obviously performance modifications aren't too bad, as long as we aren't talking reducing power by adding spoilers and bodykits etc.

Yeah, but I was talking about stock steel rims, not stock alloys.
Steel is a little heavier, but much more robust.
Not a problem if you park well.......but if women drive your car alloys can get damaged.
I also like cars looking as plain as possible.......including debadging.

I'd rather have that Escort RS Turbo, than the Mercedes?

Saying that, if I got that Merc for free I could sell it to buy the car I want and have money to run it as well.

Yeah I'd have trouble driving a vehicle that violates all my aesthetic senses.
