Default Info on a video card... and an old processor.

Hello people. Need help. It's about an Elsa GLoria Synergy 8 video card... I had one on my old pc (really old pc) and need some info about it. Somebody is willing to give me $150 for it and I want to know why the guy is willing to pay that for a pci card. If it's that good, won't sell it... need help. What the hell is an Elsa anyway?

A side note. Need Info on the Pentium -S. What the "S" actually means?

hehe my old graphics card friend, elsa...that gfx card is specialized CAD adapter, it has 3DLabs Permedia II graphics processor on it, and up to 8 megs SGRAM. it was one of top-of-the-line graphics cards in it's age, but it's little outdated now if you want some serious games. therefore if you dont do CAD, $150 is nice amount to have beside you

pentium-s is just the mark of normal pentium processor of the first pentium generations. i dont exacly know what the (s) stands for, but there are pentium-od, and pentium-mmx (overdrive, multimedia extensions) from the same series of processors.

Hey...thanks. Made an research on the card...it is priced @ $300... but I don't work wih computer aided design (first I'm gonna test it with Quake 3)... so it is better if I sell it. About the processor...somebody told me that the "s" stands for server (?)...anyway, thanks. You get my vote.

You could sell it and easily buy a Geforce or Radeon with the money. That would be a good idea if you want your card strictly to have gaming power.

By the way, you are the first guy (Galcian) I have seen use that avatar of Dracula. That is one I created a long time ago and it was always my favorite. Thanks!
