You'd probably have to get a ROM set.
Dunno really, I don't emulate anything on PC.......I emulate a lot of old stuff on my Xbox, and use real consoles for a fair bit of other stuff.
Riviera, you are TOO good.
i love galaga. WalMart used to have old CRT arcades and Galaga had a glitch that let me play as much as i wanted for free! that and Pac-Man. it was a double arcade game and i liked both but Galaga the best. haven't played it in over eight years at least and now i want to find it again. are there any MAME emulators on here and/or ROM packs? i plan to get a few things from coolroms which is usually where i get my ROMs but if i can find any on here i'll be happy. any Xbox N64 emulators that enable texture swaps?
The only thing about MAME is that you have to find a ROM that works with the specific version of the emu you get/have.
Same goes for the other arcade emulators. It really is a hassle. Mostly a "DL ROM > Test ROM" process.
no, i myself meant running emulators on the Xbox and texture swapping the games.
i just don't want to
A: pay 50 USD for OoT 3D and
B: pay almost 200 bucks for the console to play it on.
and C: not have to buy a specific controller for my PC
Don't get me wrong though.......I'm quite happy to play original games and later "remake" versions, and even HD collection releases on newer platforms

If you have a 360 or PS3 you can use corded controllers from those systems.
Actually, you can use wireless ones as well. The 360 controllers require a USB dongle, and you PC needs blutooth cpabilities to use the wireless PS3 controllers.
