Question Requesting to find parts for a budget computer build.

As the title states I'm looking for certain parts for a computer build =P

This build will use some parts that I currently already have, except these parts are hard to find and I want to know if anyone has these parts lying around or have a good source where I can get the parts.

    Motherboard:
    ASRock ConRoe865PE

    CPU(s):
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (SL9UM Stepping, not SLACR)
    OR
    Core 2 Extreme QX6700(B3)

This will accompany 2 GB of DDR Ram and an overclocked Radeon HD 4670 AGP card.

This build will run most if not all the games I would like to play =P and perform most of the tasks I do with ease. Though, once I can, I will upgrade to a more decent computer (i5 or i7) but this will hold up for the long run. =]

Why oh why are you getting an AGP motherboard and AGP video card in 2012? That shit is seriously outdated.

DDR1 RAM? Can you even use that old shite with a Core 2 Quad?

Seconded. The i3/5/7 processors are all the same chipset, aren't they? If so, you could buy an i3 or an i5 and upgrade later.

Yeah, can probably get a super cheap dual core Celeron that's the same socket as the i5/i7 to run in between owning the i7 or whatever.
At least that way you'd get DDR3 RAM and a PCI-E slot.
Also AsRock are a shitty brand. Gigabyte and ASUS are what you want.

I know and I agree with all of you
But the only reason why I'm going with this is because I already purchased a Radeon HD 4670 AGP card last summer and I don't want to leave it in this AMD Athlon XP 2500+ crap computer and put it in something more fitting.

This comp will be temporary and will make use of the parts I currently have =P

    Bump

I understand that this isn't the best build with the best brands -.- but I just want something that uses up some parts that I have already on hand. I will be getting myself a Core i5 computer afterwards =P but instead of getting rid of these parts (some I recently purchased) I want to put them to full use.

Why bump a thread where you're not asking for any more advice, simply adding to the thread that you're using parts you already own?
