Google is turning up no search results concerning the effects of switching characters this way unfortunately (too bad really, I wouldn't mind replacing Miranda with Shana later in the game). I'm guessing you were going to try this with a gameshark code?

However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

With Pec Yes, I Don't Personally Like Miranda, and I'm A lot more fond of Lavitz then Albert, I'd just rather not have to worry about it screwing my game over....
and Google was the first place i looked and didn't say anything either :/

Surprised I didn't check earlier, I just found a complete guide to do just that (hack Lavitz/Shana back into the game) on gamefaqs. Here's a link; http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/197765-th...oon/faqs/38669

If it doesn't make it clear whether or not it can cause issues replacing them after they've joined I would try it yourself, making a backup of your .mcr file before doing so.
