No, it's about Sheras, since he made the thread.

    I'm willing to help.

Nice find on that, easily worth that!

I know of all the really high level magic players (and have met some) do you know if he ever did the Pro Tour and such?
Dunno if he reached 'Pro Tour', but over the course of maybe five years, he attended many tourneys throughout NY, NJ, and NE, and on many occasions he even won nice lumps of bread and/or prizes....

Things I 'know' of the Magic game:

Five colors, signify various things, white = angelic, red = goblin, etc..
Green decks can be 'giant worms' and powerhouse decks
Red decks can be fast and hard, 'Goblin Weiner Decks', is it?
'Land' cards are 'Mana' to be used as fuel/energy
A 'proper deck' consists of 60 cards
There are certain older cards that are 'banned' from use due to being overly powered
Pre-constructed decks are hogshit and made for suckas

    ...Thats about IT, folks..

Oh, and thanks for the offer to help, man.

So he probably went to PTQs and Grand Prixs in a general area. Cool.

Moreover in regards to older cards there are formats for competitive play but that doesn't really effect you. I assume you just want to play casually.

I keep all non-EDH decks that are not Battle of Wits (read: LOL) at 60 cards.

Normal decks will want anywhere from 19-25 land. There are crazy strategies with way less and way more but I wouldn't recommend them for beginners and you likely won't have the cards to run those kind of strategies in real life (decks like Legacy Dredge are expensive).

Looking forward to seeing all of 'em...reading the blurbs, etc... Always loved the cards from the artist 'Brahams' or 'Boraz' or something like that.... ?

I appreciate the good art and flavour text but I never really checked which artist did what.
