Try playing it using epsxe 1.70 , see if that helps.

I can't play it on any other emulator cuz i'm using Linux Ubuntuit works when it wants to and i wish it wants to work all the time RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rage overwith!!!! uggg i love this game.
I'll try it with the epsxe though cuz i use wine

How do you make the fps higher? It has to be with pcsx thank you in advance

In my experience, Chrono Cross is just a complete pain in the butt to emulate, for whatever reason. I never could get it working on my PSP, and Epsxe required Daemon Tools hoop jumping to get past the disk swap

Strange, not having any problems myself as I'm going through it right now as well (good game too, been awhile since I've had any rpg even remotely grab me) But I'm only running it on xp though (with epsxe 1.7 )
