Wanted to pre-order Shangri-La. Saw the price. Moved on.

Having the money isn't the issue, $120 for 24 half hour episodes is. And they wonder why people don't buy anime. I'd rather get 3 seasons of a live action show at full price. I guess it's $110 with Amazon's current prices, still that doesn't change much.

    I sometimes collect manga.
But not anime, only because I really cannot muster that amount in a short time.

I buy anime, manga and fantasy books all the time.

Well over 200 paperbacks now. Manga I have maybe around 75 volumes of stuff? Not sure Shard would know more than I would.

Still hope if I can stalk these people long enough to get an interview.

I just don't like that price point, and the 2 release thing. They did that with CSR too ugh...but now there is a full set of that and I'm sure it will happen with this as well.

I know it's older and a licence rescue but the blu-ray for Shana is the same price as one of those and the same amount of content. And on blu-ray...and for less because pre-order price.

Yeah, it probably won't sell well. I will buy the rerelease though.

Speaking of licence rescues. I recommend Ergo Proxy. It's already cut into the price of the older sets lol.
