Question Burning a ISO and whatnot Q

Okay what I am asking about might or might not be simple to answer.
I've been thinking about downloading a PS2 game from this site and was wondering that if I did I could burn it onto a CD disc(It's a Memorex 800MB CD-R) and it would work on a normal PS2(not the slim one but the bulky one.) like an actual PS2 game that has the logo and everything on the CD itself.
Like if I got Disgaea from this site, burned it with Free ISO Burner, would it work more or less the same as if I got the actual disc?(Sorry if this doesn't make complete sense.)
Thanks to whoever can answer this question.

Technically speaking, yes it would work the same. However, your PS2 would have to be modded for the idea to even work.
Also, you must use DVD-R CD's not Music CD's.
Obviously won't fit a big file on it, so even trying to do so is out the question.
    Hope this helps

Darn, was afraid somebody was going to say that.
    *Sigh*
Well guess I will just begin searching for that game in game stores.

Oh and thanks for the quick reply.
