I love most of the Final Fantasy games. I have played FF 1,2,4,8,10. I like to think that 10-2 doesn't exist because I hate it. I'm going to play FF9 and FF7 next.

I liked the gameplay. I beat the boss in FF Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube singlehandedly since my bro and friend who were with me died within the first minute and they were the ones holding life spells. (i was the strictly melee person of the group)

I love FF4. The story is really great. Are you playing it on the snes or ds? The DS version is different then the snes version.
