Favorite of the Metroid series is Super Metroid.
My Second Favorite is the remake of the First one on GBA Metroid - Zero Mission

Thie Remake is very faithful to the original.
I like it.

and this demo is faithful as well, almost as if I thought Metroid 2 had color
