    Default Neverwinter Nights 2

Any nocturnal Americans or other interested: We've been getting together to play from about 1am until 7 or 8 CST. We have 3 core members and a whole list of others so that we usually end up with 6-7 people in the party. We use Ventrilo.

You can find Sniper Eldar or Dix (me, look for Dixon Hill pic) on Steam if you want to join, or join the Steam Group Eternal Spirit of Paladine.

If you have Neverwinter Nights 2 without steam, you can download the client at the top of the page here to find us.

Man, if I had a connection for it and was actually up at that time I'd be all over it.

What are the rules? What modules do you play on? I could probably do a couple nights of this at a friend's place.

Also I don't have it on steam because BOXES.

We're playing the main campaign(just got the Paladin NPC), followed by Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir. The rules are Hardest Difficulty so no AoE damage spells/items, we are playing as all Dwarves, and have 16 CON by level 4.

Yeah, that's great. We don't need a serious commitment. Just come play if you can.

As a cryptography and computer security expert, I have never understood the current fuss about the open source software movement. In the cryptography world, we consider open source necessary for good security; we have for decades. Public security is always more secure than proprietary security. It's true for cryptographic algorithms, security protocols, and security source code. For us, open source isn't just a business model; it's smart engineering practice.

I might. I don't think 2 will run on my laptop though.
