Its been down for more than a year now and wasn't very good. Besides with the newer CFW's, the compatibility is really good.
    My suggestion.

Well I can't seem to get one of my PSX Eboots to work so I thought it was a compatibility issue. It starts up and then freezes.

I see. Rumble Arena works for me, but idk about CTR. You can always try to change some of the conversion settings.
The first one is to reduce compression, this is your best bet.

It still isn't working. I'm using a ISO File and Ice Tea to convert it. Maybe that's the problem.

When I first converted (used IceTea also) Crash Team Racing for PSP, I ran the game in 3.51 POPS version. It works fine as I just tested it today and it works on that version. I currently have my PSP on 6.60 PRO-B10 and I use the "Original from flash" option and it works perfectly too.
