Oh, and that "secret" song you showed the other day gets really hard at the middle.
Oh, cool! I didn't realise you were learning it. It does get quite tricky toward the middle. Lots of quick finger work~ It's super-fun to play, though. And let's face it, it's worth learning a song that allows you to travel through time.

(I am thinking on Osaka's accent from Azumanga Daioh now. )
It's not a very exciting place. The most well known thing about it is Kourakuen, a garden that is considered to be one of the three great gardens of Japan. Apart from that it's supposed to be pretty quiet. But I like quiet.

There's a regional dialect, yes. Okayama isn't quite within the Kansai region like Osaka is, so it's not real kansai-ben, but since the city is quite close, the two share quite a lot of features.

Little by little, yes... I think you can call it "learning".
I am basically just catching the notes by hearing, but I think I will try to get some MIDI, if there are some, and export to a music program to see the notes.
    But it is fun.

    Especially to travel backwards.

... that will make things interesting, I suppose.
Osaka's accent from Osaka is really funny to hear with the "hen's" and the "de's".

Currently in the wikipedia page of Okayama...

Your post reminded me that I should have been looking for a certain camera to take pics of a certain mod.
