A little PSP help, if you will...

Hey guys, I was just recently at a garage sale and found a PSP 1001 model for $20. I decided to buy it and when I got home and turned it on...it has the CFW 3.71 M33-4 and another program called PSP Filer Ver.5.0.

Now, I know this has to be a custom firmware and all and I'm here wondering...how do I play the PSP ISOs that are here on the site with this newly aquired PSP?

Do I need to upgrade the firmware, do I need to download another instead of the one already on it? What needs to be done, and if anyone can point me in the correct direction....I'm completely lost right now and would to try to play the games on here.

Yes, that is a M33 CFW for 1000 and early 2000, its quite old now and requires more work if you want to run PSP ISO(like patching, etc), especially for newer games.
You can update your current CFW to a more updated version(but still, it still an old version) or, which I highly recommend, is to upgrade to the latest CFWs.

You don't have to install both, just pick one and follow the guide of your choice, carefully.

For the PSP ISOs, just put it inside the ISO folder, which should be at the root of your Memory Stick.
