The first six or seven episodes are decent, and have some cool fight sequences. After that it gets slower and slower.

    Major spoilarZ:
Double suicide ending is as lame as it gets.

How can it be horrendous and mediocre ?

    This. Just an awful anime.

Edit: Much like Samurai 7 it had potential but then just started failing right and left.

I'll never refuse to watch anything, being prejudiced enough to not even give something a chance is pretty silly...

That said, I fully regret watching Gundam Seed Destiny. The original Seed series was ok enough. But Destiny was so mind numbingly bad it made me retroactively dislike EVERY Gundam series. Terrible terrible show...

Also, Texhnolyze. Spoiler: The ending of the series was prettymuch everybody in the series dying or committing suicide for no reason. So it was totally a pointless waste of time to watch.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out. I've watched like 6 episodes of it, and was planning on finishing it someday Now I don't have to.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

regretting seems rare with ~1 month total into anime.

If you know you won't like something I don't see a point in watching the first episode. I'm pretty good at judging if I'll like something but yeah I've whiffed a few times like Basilisk. I pass over a lot of newer stuff. One of my little pet peeves in inexplicable dips in animation quality. If it's in a joking sense like what happens in Needless I don't mind but I think anyone that's watched a fair amount of anime knows what I'm talking about here. It's not that I can't stand older or lower quality animation though. I can watch and in fact enjoy lots of old anime, as long as the level of animation is consistent I'm okay.

I'm about to watch school rumble and i hardly understand it first 3 episodes i was on Tylenol 3 and passed out during them each time so now its like wtf but it has its laugh. I'll know if i will regret it by the end of the series. It somewhat has a Clannad like feel with the setting but a more happy love triangle type deal. ( Horrible way to explain ) .
