Good afternoon everybody! (yes it's afternoon here, 13:21)

I think emulation sites are shut down now because it's getting too popular and too big. It's just like napster. Napster could run for years, but when it begun to get too many users, it got sued and had to shut down. Everyone went to KaZaA, and now they are urged to stop. And while those lawmen are busy, they decided to go to an other problem; emulation. Well, at least that's how I think about it.

i say you explain to them that the roms posted are to be used as a backup and the situation of downloading be used by the honor system, then again, you may think of something better.

Ummmm, I don't think that will work. Roms are ILLEGAL. Period. The 24 hour rule is fake. And it's such a horrible lie to tell them that we use an honor system. We download as we please

well, they have IDSA protected roms that cant be downloaded, like Mario, all nintendo ones, and the rest can be downlaoded

really wierd. why would they wanna take down nes roms anyways? they dont make a profit from it, your not getting a profit and without emulation the old games would almost literally "disappear".

I love the message boards! I did come for the roms at first... that was long ago...then I started reading your message boards, and the people were willing to help...I was hooked. Love this page! This is more than just a community...this is a family. They can take out the roms...but not the emulation scene. If somebody needs roms, use ftp sites! Or use icq!

MasJ... I truly admire your efforts to brings us the best, and only the best.You actually pay from your pockets so the site stays up! And Nintendo better start thinking that they are attacking the very same customers that buy their new systems. Let's break a riot!!!!
