Default Virus software doesn't like JDownloader?

Just recently got a snazzy new computer, after a ton of fuss, and I got Kaspersky, since none of my other antivirus software seemed to do its job in the past, and it seems to regard JDownloader, or at least JDownloader_Setup as an "Internet Threat Level 1," saying that it's "Legal software that can be used by criminals for damaging your computer or personal data." Should I be worried?

We're back, baby. I'd love if someone could help me read this.

First, make sure you download JDownloader from its official site.
Secondly, if you're pretty sure that you download it from the official site, then it is a false alarm. Some antivirus software are so sensitive and without a doubt, Kaspersky is on the list. I know this cause I have tried Kaspersky.
JDownloader is a safe software. Don't worry though.

did you get the offline or online installer the online installs adware on your computer if you have the offline you have nothing to worry about though and just to be sure you got it from the official site and not anywhere else is this where you got it despite what it says the second link is better for your computers safety.

EDIT: muscab beat me to it, but please do pay atten: to my online vs offline installer warning.

hes right offline installers are a lot better, you can all so back them up to any form of removable media which means that you don't have to download everything again if your computer dies, useful if your allocated bandwidth is low.

If i was remotely usefull (how ever unlikey that maybe) feel free to click the thanks button or share some rep.

Simple solution: learn good browsing habits; won't need an antivirus at all then.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

^+1, I do the same thing. Just got done running full scans with AVG and Panda Cloud AV after ~6 months straight running no AV. Zero detections
