Default Metal Gear Solid (1) EPSXe screen flicker problem

My screen flickers randomly when I'm underwater or during some cut scenes, it shows where I was before. For example, if I'm listening to the codec at the beginning of the game, and then walk back to the water, I get a constantly flickering image of me still on my codec. My Plug-in Pete's Open GL 2.9 is Here's what it looks like:

Have you try the setting in my page http://psxdatacenter.emuparadise.me/, since you don't provide any info about your plugin config and the game works perfect using open gl2

I'm having the same problem, and have no idea what settings to alter in order to fix this. The link you have provided doesn't seem to be working for me. (Server not found, seems I missed out by a day)
Is there a reason for this? Is there a chance you guys or anyone else could list the config settings you used in order to fix this issue?

    EDIT:
NVM, I've fixed the issue thanks to a combination of using these settings I stumbled on in the Black Screen Of Death thread. If anyone else can't access the link provided then hopefully these configuration settings should work for you:

Clicked ePSXe, clicked File, Run ISO and then clicked the game file. Now all I get are black screens of dooooom.

    Understood, thank you.
