burning a large ISO onto a 4.7gb disc

Hi, new to the forums, hope I am in the right place.

I want to burn Xenosaga onto a disc for my PS2, but the COMPRESSED file is 6.5GB, and DVD disc size is 4.7GB.
How do I go about putting this ISO onto a disc? I am guessing that splitting the file will not work considering it is a game.
Any help would be GREAT

I try and download a game, i.e. Silent Hill Shattered Memories, but it says authentication required, is that my login or something I am not able to do?

from the sounds of it its a dual layer disc rip, but if i recall the ps2 didnt support dual layer? i could be wrong afterall, whats the un comppressed size? and would you mind linking me to the place you downloaded Xenosaga and as for silent hill where did you try and download from? the main site or the forum if the main site try this link or this link

there were about 10 dual layer PS2 games such as god of war and rogue galaxy

You need to patch them with the Toxic patcher.

there were about 10 dual layer PS2 games such as god of war and rogue galaxy

Xenosaga is one of them.

At the Sahjin: Your best option is to buy a five pack of DL DVDs, then grab the Toxic DL Patcher off of SKS.

yeah I wanted rogue galaxy too, but same large file problem, so I guess that's the way to do it.

there are two ways you can do this one is by hitting the little thanks button on the bottom right of the poster you want to thank the other is to hit the little star icon also on the bottom right of the post you want to give rep to.

it would seem that your having issues accessing FTPS aswell, it seems to be a problem going around atm your best bet is to just download from the forums
