Unhappy I can't get my Playstation one emulator set up.

I'm new to emulating, and I don't know a lot about it. My emulator is epsxe160. When I tried to set it up it said I needed to select a bios file, but there are several of them and I don't know which one I use. Does anyone know how to set this up? I use windows on my computer if that helps. Thanks.

Open the emulator, go to the Config menu, and run the Wizard Guide. It lists suggestions at each stage. That should be all you need for this problem.

Check the Folders. Your BIOS files should be in a sub-folder in the ePSXe location called bios. If that is right, open ePSXe, config menu, BIOS, and select your BIOS from the list here. If it still doesn't detect properly you may have to wait for somebody else to help you.

Alternately, try a different emulator. There is one on the list here called PSX that does not use plugins. It's much easier to get running but does not have as many options to get things optimized on your computer.

Try to avoid the double post. For some reason it drives the mods here batty.
