I would say the gameboy version (the origonal one), and the nes version both are pretty fun even today.

My favorite is the nes version. I play it all the time on my emulator. I think that I like this game best because it was one of the first games I played on the nes, this game started me on puzzle games.

The Tengen unlicensed NES version. Three traditional russian themes, versus computer, versus 2P, and COOPERATIVE MODE.

I'm not kidding. There's a tetris with cooperative mode.

Pieces also change color as levels advance, which is neat.

The NES version was probably my favorite Tetris (it's still fun to play up to this date ). The game was simple and easy to play, along with great colors and sound effects.
    How's it feel being beaten?

my favorite tetris? hmm thats a tough one, I'm gonna go with tetris worlds for gameboy addvance the reason I like the music and background themes as well as the different mods like sticky tetris, fusion, hot line, square, cascade, and original.
