Finally found a use for Windows: flashing custom roms to Android devices. Since I'm using a hackintosh, I'm using a little shitty Netgear usb wireless stick. If I plug any device that can double as a modem (all android devices) into the computer alongside my usb wifi stick, it will forcibly (and silently) remove my usb wifi stick from the OS, causing me to lose my connection until I reboot.

Since there are official drivers for Windows, this does not happen.*

*I'm using official drivers for OS X, but these drivers are for 10.4.*, but I'm running 10.6.8, so some bugginess is to be expected.

Nevermind. I can use my MicroSD card reader and do it in OS X. Fuck Windows.
