Question can i run ps2 isos from my usb on my ps2?

I've been trying to find a way to play my ps2 isos, directly from my usb stick on the ps2 (i have a modchip installed). Is there anyway to do this? I've read a couple of guides, but I'm kind of stupid, and non-technical, so if someone could explain how to do this, in simple terms I would greatly appriecate it.

Also, sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm sort of new to the forums of this site

It is possible, but from what I've heard it's rather slow. (Because PS2 uses USB1) I don't recommend it, but if you insist, here's a good guide:

I haven't done this before, but follow the guide and tell us where you have problems and I'll try to help.

cheers, won't be able to try it, until a couple of days, so I don't know if it'll work. Since you say that running stuff from the USB is slow, I might have to try to get my hands on a couple of blank discs. How big of a disc do you reckon i'm going to need?

Like 99% of PS2 games go onto 4.7GB DVD R discs.

To be honest even the few games that are on DVD9 discs you are best of grabbing a ripped version that will fit onto a standard DVD5 disc

Most PS2's find it difficult to read DVD+/-R DVD9 discs but DVD+R DVD5 discs are read very well (though do try and stick to good quality media) DVD-R media has mixed results some PS2 will find just about all DVD-R media a struggle to read the quality of DVD-R is alot less than DVD+R but older models of the PS2 didn't work at all with DVD+R media just the first few produced the later bulky models can still read DVD+R fine
