Unhappy My long un ending struggle to get Chrono Cross working.

Okay, so for the last two years I have been trying to get Chrono Cross to run without incredible slowdown with my espxe emulator to absolutely no avail. I have tried with 2 seperate computers both with more than sufficient specs, at least five different .iso/rom sources including emuparadise & trying all diffrnt config settings with pete's gpu. I've been able to reduce slow down with certain setting/files but not near enough to make it playable. On my old computer which is far inferior to the one I am using now ran the game perfectly, with no slowdown and high graphic settings.
i feel like I am cursed or something, CC is the only game I have been not able to run. I have played ff8,ff9, with all setting on high with no problems but CC just doesn't want to work for me.
    What should I do?
