Default What does a crc error mean, and why do I get a write:invalid address on some games?

Sometimes when I unzip some gamecube games,I get a crc error. What exactly does that mean? Also,I am trying to play tmnt(both first and second one) and a few others.I get a write:invalid address. What is that?

    I am using dolphin 2.0 32bit and 64bit version.Dolphin 3.0 does not run on my computer(win7 64bit).I get the VCOMP_100.dll error.

    Thanks for the help

crc error means the file is corrupt, either has not extracted correctly, you can try using an alternative for extracting e.g. 7-zip instead of winrar or it wasn't downloaded successfully

That being said, if the other extracting program fails, you will have to download it again.
I suggest using JDownloader instead of just firefox or ie. It offers a check for most sites and fully supports download pause and continue.

Update your C++ to the latest version.
