I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to bring my PS3 with me when I leave for a month. I'm going to be traveling by Greyhound and staying at a semi-shady motel for four weeks.

I mean, sliding isn't terrible and eventually I'll get used to it, but going from 4th to 6th to 3rd to 8th and back to 4th (Coldplay - Viva la Vida) on a bass A-String with roundwound strings is fucking PAINFUL when just starting out.

You could probably get away with lowering the action (string height) a bit. See the little allen key slots on the bridge saddles? Detune the strings, give each of those between a quarter and a half turn clockwise and tune back up to pitch. Repeat until you're happy. If fretted notes begin to buzz, repeat the process on the affected strings but go anti clockwise. You want the action low enough that it's easy to play but high enough that notes still ring out clearly.

My Xbox has went weird. XBMC doesn't load anymore, the original Xbox dashboard does. But it still plays copied discs.
