Default FFIX Problems - Help needed please!

I have been quite happily playing FFIX on epsxe V1.7.0 and have just gotten to the point at which you save in order to enter disk 2 (in which I have done to the *memory cards*).

I have now loaded FFIX disk 2 (which does so fine) but when I come to trying to read from the memory cards I get an error saying "No FFIX data found on memory card".

I managed to quite happily complete FFVII and swap through the disks etc and really have no clue why FFIX's disk 2 wont read my memory cards!

    Thanks in advance!

Edit: I just thought the more information I give the easier it will be to diagnose my problem.

Try using a virtual drive application such as Daemon Tools to mount your disk images. Then use "Run CDRom" option to start the game. Change the disks using the virtual drive tool.

Edit: Another problem could be that your second disk is for another version of the game. As an example, if your first disk is the US version and the second one is the EU version, the save files won't be compatible. Try getting the disks from one single source if that's your problem.

Aha I think it may be your edited idea I think. The disk 1 of my game is NTSC-U and my disk 2 is (E) SLES. If these are the regions (which I am not too sure about in all honesty) could you point me in the right direction of getting a second ISO of the same region as my first disk?

    Thanks again
