I'm not cut out for prison Lash...

Not that I'm saying it would ever go that far, I'm just saying I want to err on the side of caution since I live in this crazy country.

Don't give 'em any ideas, Englebert.

Welp, all my links are probably dead now. Sh*t Pickle!

Heh, they probably will arrest me for it and then implement it as law.

    I don't believe it'll go that far. I hope it doesn't. That's a very scary thought, actually.

Oh I wasn't accusing you of being lackluster or lazy about reuploading. I just meant that I will do what I can to help out.

I can quite understand taking the safe position, really.

Yeah, I didn't take it that way.

Kinda lame really, cause Shard and I might be the only people on here with some lesser known JRPGs that can upload them. Hopefully all this noise doesn't amount to anything.

The Feds have been able to do this for years (even before the The Patriot Act). They only picked this day to send a message to all the people pretending they are protesting (a protest only works if violence or a depletion of resources is a consequence, something we won't do). My bet is they are going to shut down Megaupload and site the thousand of users who have uploaded IP-related material as the example. None of the users will be charged with anything while the host takes all the blame. They can go after the users, but just like music piracy, they don't have the funds to go after the little people like us.

I'm concerned, but not worried. This is just being done to try and shut the protesters up. In about a few months, another site will take it's place and all will back to normal.

All those poor Roms & ISO's, lost forever in the winds of time..... Which is fuckin annoying as now we've lost a large chunk of gaming history.

Here's hoping they put it up for just one more day so everyone who hosted legitimate files can recover them.

It would be a good idea to come up with a list. That way people that own the games could up them to different hosts. I'm far too lazy to make said list though.

All of our stuff is on MF. I won't take chances when something like this happens however.

That's a great idea, then we can slowly recover the collection once more. Sadly I really don't have time to collate a list of this scale.
