Questions Fullset Arcade

I am a big fan of the site mainly for having to download fullsets many consoles, I have a question regarding the fullsets fullsets several arcade MAME Update Pack 0140 to 0141, 0138 MAME ROMS, MAME Update Pack 0141 to 0142, MAME 0139 to 0140 Update Pack, which to download and what is the difference between them? fullsets of the roms are the same or different? I do not understand what I download and contains all the roms.

Basically the MAME 0138 ROMs is the 0.138 fullset. The upgrade sets just take you from one version to the next. So they only include the difference of ROMs between 0138 and 0139 and then 139 and 140 and so on.

So, if you want a complete MAME 0138 set -- download all the parts for the MAME 0138 set.

If you want the MAME 0142 set, then download the full 0138 set, followed by the upgrade packs 139, 140, 141, and 142.

You incrementally upgrade from one set to another after downloading a complete set for any one version. Hope this makes sense.

But what do I download, more complete and contain all the roms? or should I download more than one? I want a download that contains all arcade roms.

The MAME arcade rom sets are versioned according to the version of the emulator. This means that MAME 0.138 can play all the ROMs in the 0.138 set. MAME version 0.139 can play all the ROMs in the 0.139 set and so on.

There's no 'complete' set that I'm aware of. The sets we provide are complete in the sense that those are all the ROMs that can be played (and there are thousands of them!). So if you want to have the most complete set to date, download the 0138 full set and then the 0139 upgrade pack, 0140 upgrade pack, all the way to 0144. (the current release)

Then the fullsets must be downloaded in accordance with the version of my emulator? but all these have the same fullsets roms or download all fullsets need to have all the roms? My emulator is the latest Fullset which I download? I take all these questions please.
