    Default HELP!! Medievil II problems

    Hello.
I've come across a problem playing "medievil II", when I reach a certain point in the game this image shows:

and I can't get further in the game.

(I've downloaded 2 different versions of the game:

    1: http://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Plays...ievil_II/37148
    2: http://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Plays...Fr,De%29/52364

The first time it stopped after the first level, the second after 7-8 levels )

Does anybody have a solution for this, or maybe a hint to what it says on the screen.?

It looks like its saying "Software terminated. Console may have been (tampered/modded)..." call dah dah dah.

Looks like a copy-protection thing in the disc. What BIOS are you using? Try changing it or using a different emulator? Are you running the game from an ISO or a burned disc? Is the ISO mounted through a virtual drive or directly into the emulator? Not really sure what's going on with it, just covering the basics first.

Yeah, this definitely looks like a copy-protection issue. The easiest thing to do would be to use ePSXe (here for 1.6.0 and here for 1.7.0) and put this file into the 'patches' folder.
Or you could patch the ISO with either this or this.

    EDIT:
Sorry I for got this at first, but take a look through this thread if you want more info, etc.

Wow, thanks alot for the quick responses.

    vitz3:
    What BIOS are you using?
    SCPH1001

Are you running the game from an ISO or a burned disc?
    ISO

Is the ISO mounted through a virtual drive or directly into the emulator?
I'm not really sure, I open my emulator "PSX fin"-->select disc image-->Medievil II and the game starts

Try changing it or using a different emulator?
I'm trying the one that Alakazander suggested.

    Alakazander:
I've got the emulator running with the game, no save games though, but that was to be expected. I'll se how far this will bring me, and if it stops again I'll write here again.

    Thanks for the help.
