I know in 7 you could summon Odin for boss battles but it used gunge lance instead of slice and dice (insert real ability name as I have forgotten it.)so you could summon him but no insta-kills 0on bosses(this is in the NTSC-U version other versions may have been different.)

It is possible to beat without using Tifa but you do have to have final attack and revive or phoenix on at least one of your battle party.

now for my question how much does gravity based spells demi etc. actually take from emerald weapon when it at full HP. When used it says on screen 9999 but if using sense you can see the actual damage taken is much higher.

well that depends on which demi spell you are using 1/3 1/2 or 3/4 for each tier of it and how much hp the opponent has lol gotta love fractions lol it's just like your stats they go past 255 you just never see it so you would have to do you own math or if you give me it's hp and which demi you use i'll do it for ya lol

every time I've tried to double cast KOTR it tells me ultimate power can only be used once per turn

the only way to accomplish this is with a cheating device i used a gameshark with a the debug room cheat.... with this way you can also obtain sephroth and all materia and items lol... if you wish to know more just quote me here and i'll give you an guide lol.
