    Default ps2 backup games problem

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this but I hope it is. My ps2 is modded with a messiah 2 chip, but some games simply refuse to boot just because. they are the following: medal of honor european assault, ultimate spiderman, spiderman 2, zatch bell, splinter cell, and crash bandicoot (ps1). zatch bell and medal of honor actually seem to boot but then just get stuck, the spiderman ones begin to boot up but then are redirected to the browser where the console asks me to insert a ps2 or ps1 game, and the splinter cell one gets to its own menu but when I try to play it just fails. Help please. thnx in advance.

Have you checked a compatability list for you chip? It could be that

    A) Your Chip Simply cannot play them
    B) You have downloaded Bad Isos of the games in question.

I've been using a cyberlink program that came with my computer, with it I've burned several other games for Saturn, PS1, and PS2. I've tested all the ISOs in an emulator before burning, and the only ones that didn't work on the emulator worked on the console. Also I think that the burning speed was 8x because it was the maximum spee allowed. Thanks.

Lowest speed possible is the best speed possible (you want to get it around 4x). This ensures a quality burn, and can save both the disk and the burner.

both of the above post are correct IMG Burn is the best program for burning in image burn mount the .Cue file and burn at the slowest setting for a quality burn.
