And here's our ebay equivalent. All the differences are taxes (and a bit of profit for the seller). In retail shops, a single Wii (least expensive console) can go for as much as 2500 pesos.

(prices in local currency, divide by 4.3 to have an estimative price in US dollars)
    Thank you kind sir.

This is a bit old. I think i reported this on EP a while ago, along with the "New" PSP model that has no online mode what so ever. Both started in EU. Nintendo is just trying to cut the cost of the wii. Just buy an older Wii.

    Also, Amazon sucks. Really bad.
Gamecubes are small and amazon is generally a hell of a lot cheaper than buying from a store.

Yeah I know, and someone has to do it. For me well I've just already heard it by the time you've posted it 99% of the time (esp the gaming news) cause of other sites I frequent.

It really has nothing to do with cutting the cost. They removed gamecube compatibility because the original wii hacks were created by exploiting its gamecube compatibility.

he probably refers to the old LoZ:TP save hack (was released on both GC and Wii for ze n00bz :p). But I'm pretty sure it had to be the wii version and not the GC.
The GC was more of a problem for the hackers than the other way around. you can run your homebrews isos and copys perfectly when they are wii games. but the GC only works with a physical disc, so you still have to burn a decen disc to play and install a bunch of other wads to make it run decently.

Now I'm totally not an expert on the exact code used for the bannerbomb, letterbomb etc, but I'm pretty sure it has more to do with wii code than GC stuff (seeing that you have to use very wii specific features to do so.

If nintendo removed the GC comp. Just to avoid the TP hack then they really should learn to google. just type in "Wii hack" an d the first site you get is wiihacks, which is a totally free forum about hacking a wii :p just saying....

it should still have GC controller ports because many wii games use them and supposedly the Wii U will have them as well
