An urgent question regarding Wii

Hello lovely people.
I'm not a guy that's too fond of caps, but there's something I'd need to know as soon as possible.
I've heard that the blue wii released as a black friday exclusive doesn't have GC ports, but can it read GC games from an USB hdd?

Tis be an absolute deal breaker; I'm more interested in the GC compatibility than I am in any Wii game.

I know right? It generally sucks to sell on there because it's just as bad as ebay if not worse now in terms of buyer protection. Pretty sure buyers can just straight up scam you if they want and win. But mostly I meant it sucks for buying consoles for quite a few reasons.

I would assume cheaper production cost.

Major cost cut, and he explanation why the console went for so little money on that day you call "black friday". There had to be a reason for it to cost only 100 dollars.

Also, again, please do not refer me to Amazon, ebay and the likes, I DON'T LIVE IN THE US, I live in Argentina, where importing videogame consoles is BANNED BY LAW.

I'll reword a bit. I guess I went overboard.

Just sayin', it's more like a "decrete", or... "regulation".
You won't see that on our constitution. Just sayin... I guess it's worth clearing up.

Also, all "prohibitions" translate into 50 to 100% plus on the price. It's not -banned- per se, but you get a punishment, and you cannot discard the possibility of not being allowed to get it past the custom, having to pay the shipment back instead.

There are more things you can't import, I don't care about those.

EDIT: I frown at stupidity and my huge dissapointment towards not getting the Wii made me, you guessed it, say something stupid.

Maybe, but without controller and memory card ports, it would be quite difficult to play gc games even if they did load. And I agree, GC library > Wii Library.

And here's our ebay equivalent. All the differences are taxes (and a bit of profit for the seller). In retail shops, a single Wii (least expensive console) can go for as much as 2500 pesos.
